Spring has sprung! It’s nice and sunny here in Florida (although we’ve already had a few days of rain) with a bit of wind, which makes it perfect for outdoor activities with my crew! I love taking the kiddos outside to get some fresh air. If you’re looking for some simple ideas to have spring fun with the fam, keep reading!
We visit the park at least once a week. Our favorite one is 5 minutes from our house, has a huge play area and a really nice trail. It’s surrounded by trees and lakes, so it’s super peaceful for just relaxing and enjoying nature. We recently received a travel cot from Regalo Baby, and have used it a ton already! I love the pink color for spring, so it’s perfect for Olivia to relax and play on at the park. I’ll bring her favorite toys and she’ll watch Solomon run around.
Since we have a ton of beaches in Florida, we spend a lot of time there during spring/summer also. They can get crowded during this time, so we usually travel a little further from home to have more space to spread out. If you know the Tampa Bay area or are planning to visit, our favorites are Sand Key Beach, Pass-a-Grille and Indian Rocks Beach. If you want more activities, Clearwater Beach has a gorgeous pier and lots of restaurants and shops (and people!)
Olivia loves to sit on her pink My Cot and watch Solomon run around the beach, splashing in the water and building a sandcastle. I’m sure she’s looking forward to joining him soon!
Playing at Home
At the end of the day, we’re also homebodies, so we will likely have a lot of quiet days at home this season. Nothing like snuggling up, reading to the kiddos and watching them play indoors. The My Cot is perfect for those rainy days where you don’t want to get outside and get wet! Portable beds like this are also perfect for sleepovers at the kiddos’ grandparents’ house and aunt & uncle’s house.
