Does your baby sleep in the crib full time or do you co-sleep? We are in the process of transitioning Olivia to her crib full time, and it hasn’t been too bad! She has been sleeping in her bassinet next to my bed since birth. It’s all a new experience, as we bed shared with Solomon until he was three.
Olivia naps in her crib during the day, but I’d been looking for ways to move her to the crib at night as smoothly as possible. That’s why I’m so glad I stumbled upon Hatch Baby. The Rest night light and sound machine sets a calming atmosphere in Olivia’s nursery to prepare her for a good night’s sleep.
We’ve tried it a few nights, and it’s working like a charm! It’s such a neat device. You can adjust the brightness of the light, the color of the light and the sounds–her favorite is the lullaby and water sounds. She loves to sit in her crib and watch the light. It’s so soothing, I was able to lay Olivia in her crib, and she stayed asleep!
I also love that it’s super stylish, and fits perfectly with O’s nursery. It came with three interchangeable covers in fun prints.
We also tried the Hatch Baby Grow, a smart scale and changing pad. When I changed her on our other changing pads, she would start fidgeting and often cry from the discomfort. When I lay her on the Grow, she actually stays there for a while and plays with her toes, even after I change her! The pad is super soft, and I track her weight right from my phone.
We spend a lot of time in Olivia’s room during the day to help her feel more comfortable sleeping in there at night. She takes naps, plays and I change her on the Grow in there.
