Winter Book List for Mompreneurs

I’m so excited to get back into the groove of documenting our daily moments, and sharing what I’ve learned the past year I took off to focus on my photography business!

Let me tell you, entrepreneurship isn’t for the faint of heart. There are some amazing days and then there are some days where I wonder what I got myself into haha. But I’m in it for the long haul! I seriously LOVE what I do, and can’t imagine going back to 9-5. It’s so exhilarating to be able to do what I love every single day, make my own schedule and be there for the kiddos. Best feeling ever!

Around this time last year, I was preparing to quit my 9-5 to pursue photography full time. I was excited, but needed a plan. The good thing about working from home in my corporate job and becoming a content creator is that I developed a solid work ethic. I was creating content every day and juggling my full-time job and taking on new clients. The blog suffered, but I learned so much in the process!

I didn’t always love to read, but I’ve found reading to be therapeutic and a great way to build myself up, especially during those hard days. I wanted to share some of my favorites for female entrepreneurs, and I hope you find them helpful for your winter reading. If you’re thinking of starting a business or maybe reviving an old hobby, these books will motivate you to take it to the next level.

These are also great gifts for someone who may be starting a business or need inspiration!

Make it Happen by Lara Casey

31 Days of Prayer for the Dreamer & Doer by Jenn Sprinkle & Kelly Rucker

Work Party by Jaclyn Johnson

More Than Enough by Elaine Welteroth

In the Company of Women by Grace Bonney

Excited to add more books to my library in 2020! I’ll be sharing more recommendations soon.
